NOTE: In the United States, to make an investment in a private investment partnership, a prospective investor must generally satisfy the regulatory criteria of being an accredited investor. To be an accredited investor, only one of the following conditions must be met: 1: An annual income exceeding 200,000 USD or 300,000 jointly with a spouse for the past two years, with a reasonable expectation of the same for the current year. 2: A net worth exceeding $1M individually or jointly with a spouse, excluding the value of a primary residence. 3: Hold certain professional certifications such as Series 7, 65, 82, other designations recognized by the SEC such as CFA or CPA, or certain other financial professionals. 4: Employees involved in the fund’s investment activities. 5: Entities with total assets exceeding $5M or where all owners are accredited investors. 6: Certain financial institutions such as banks, insurance companies, or registered investment companies.
